Privacy Policy

Effective: April 23, 2026. This policy tells you what information Settle collects, why, and your rights.

Short version: We collect the info you give us when you create an account and submit a claim. We share it with the lawyers, doctors, or body shops you ask us to connect you with. We don't sell your data to advertisers.

1. Who we are

Settle ("we", "our") is an injury-claim matching service operated by Summit Claim Partners. We connect people who've been injured in an accident with vetted lawyers, medical providers, and auto body shops. We are not a law firm, medical practice, or repair shop.

Settle is free for users. We are paid by the Providers in our network when they accept a case we send to them — see our Terms of Service for the full disclosure.

2. Information we collect

Account info: name, phone number, email address, and password (stored securely via Firebase Authentication).
Claim info: what happened, when, where (state), the insurance company involved, a description of the incident, and any documents or photos you upload.
Device info: basic technical data like your device type and operating system, used to keep the app working and secure.

3. How we use your information

To match you with a qualified lawyer, doctor, or body shop in your state.
To communicate with you by text, email, or push notification about your claim.
To keep the app secure and prevent fraud.
To improve Settle over time (in aggregate, not tied to you personally).

4. When we share your information

We share the details of your claim with the professionals you're asking us to connect you with — that's the point of the service. For example, if you request an attorney match, the attorney will see your name, contact info, and the description of your incident.

We also use trusted infrastructure providers (Google Firebase for authentication, database, and file storage) that process data on our behalf under strict contracts. We do not sell your data to advertisers or data brokers.

5. Your rights

Access or delete your data: email privacy@summitinjuryclaims.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
Close your account: request deletion via the email above and we'll remove your account and personal information, except where we're legally required to retain records (e.g. for active legal matters).
Stop receiving texts: reply STOP to any SMS we send you.

6. Security

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We use industry-standard authentication and access controls. No system is 100% secure, but we take protecting your information seriously.

7. Children

Settle is not intended for anyone under 18. If a minor has been injured and needs legal help, a parent or legal guardian should submit the claim.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you in the app or by email before the changes take effect.
